Man Riding Winches

There are several Honor product solutions for temporary work at height or depth and for descending and lifting people.

This typically happens in confined spaces such as ships’ holds, tanks, reactors, pits, quay edges, platforms etc. There is much demand to lift and lower people using specialized people winches or man riding winches (MRW).

STAR-series man riding winches

The STAR-series man riding winches are specially designed to lift and lower people safely from height, depth and confined spaces. MRW’s are used in combination with fall arrest blocks (devices), often with integrated rescue winches or “Recovery Blocks”. During an incident, victims can be rescued in a controlled manner without the need for a manhole guard or rescuer to enter the risk area.
